This review looks at the Elswick Peloton Mens Road Bike and provides product information gathered from the manufacturer, customer testimonials and our own experience with this bike.
The Elswick Peloton is designed as an entry level road bike that is currently increasing in popularity, as shown by the 5 star rating it currently holds on Amazon and holding the number 3 spot of best selling road bikes. It has many features that you would find on a bike that costs twice as much, so if you are not looking to spend a fortune on a new bike but still want good performance then the Elswick Peloton would be very suitable.
When I carried the package into my house I was surprised at just how light the whole thing was compared to my old mountain bike that I used to ride to work. The assembly process was pretty easy, even for me, as the main parts of the bike were all ready assembled.
The only parts I needed to put together were the handlebar, pedals and the front wheel. The gears and brakes were already assembled so no need to worry about problems putting them together.
The bike is dispatched directly from Elswick who have a great reputation for good customer service. If you have any issues when you get your bike just contact them and they will sort you out.
The Elswick Peloton has a set of 14 speed Shimano gears that worked well for me. I know that some bikes on the cheaper side are prone to the odd set of faulty gears being shipped but I was impressed with them compared to the road bikes that I have tested for around £100 less. It is worth looking at the
